About Princess: Don't let the name deceive you. Princess has been a hardworking promotional model, public speaker, marketer, manager, and mainstay in the action sports industry. Although surfing is one of her newer learned sports, Princess has been seen on television in various projects and was a professional radio broadcaster for KMEN Sports Radio 1290 AM. The knowledge gained here would propel her marketing career later down the line. It was no accident that this show was also the debut of Princess' illustrious career in sports. Back in September of 2002, Princess began professionally public speaking in over 100 high schools in Orange County. She served as an Orange County Speakers Bureau Representative. Next she moved on to marketing and event promotion, managing national sales and marketing for Nondi Luxe Swimwear in 2003. Later that same year, she performed street promotion and marketing for the Boost Mobile Pro of Surf co-sponsored by Quiksilver. Since June of 2003, Princess could often be seen as a scorekeeper and tabulator for Doheny Longboard Surfing Association (DLSA) events. Today, Princess is one of the newly developed “ASP Angels.” The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) can now say it has its very own cheerleaders to represent for the entire surfing industry worldwide. Princess made a remarkable presence for promoting the Boost Mobile Pro of Surf sponsored by Quiksilver across South OC. She is one of the action sports industry's premier marketers. It is no wonder she is called the “everything girl.” This ASP Angel has been a national swimwear representative at industry trade shows and still finds time to volunteer as an Aloha Ticket Greeter for the Dale Velzy Surf Contest and Luau. As the “Princess of Sports”, she was the only girl working amongst 25 veteran male broadcasters. “Being a girl in sports radio announcing was a tough job to break into, but I earned the respect of my coworkers and fans and managed to keep my personality intact,” says the “Princess of Sports.” From professional football to X Games, her heart lies with extreme sports. “Having a background in international dance, I value the Doheny Longboard Surfing Association slogan .Surfing's a Dance and the Wave Always Leads.' I believe in the DLSA philosophy. Being an ASP Angel gives me an opportunity to share the fun, beauty, sport and spirit of the surfing industry throughout Southern California and the world. I especially respect the .soul of surfing'.”
Angels are omnipresent and can do anything. This Angel lets us know that she is more than just an Angel of Sports. The exposure as a public speaker gave Princess, a keen eye for boosting sales by attracting attention. I am not only talking about her “attractive, personable, and professional” appearance either. The last month of 2005 was a busy month for Princess who landed several promotional modeling industry projects for the action sports industry, Starbucks Liqueur, Knob Creek Bourbon, Brahma Beer, Blue Ice Vodka, Pantene Hair Products and Firefly Mobile Phones to name a few. Corporations nationwide silence those who think Princess is only an image when they laud Princess's effectiveness in demonstrating for customers and store associates about how to use their products. One store manager quotes, “Her positive interaction with store management, sales associates and customers were a key asset in promoting manufacturers products in our store. . . Princess sure helped pave the way for the future sales of products in the Orange County, and the Southern California areas.” The future is very bright for Princess and it will be interesting to see where she will be headed next. Will it be more promotional modeling? Will it be more marketing? Will it be more public speaking? Will it be in sports television? Will it be surfing? Whatever the case may be, she will always remain a Princess
